Job summary

Markerstudy Group is seeking a Pricing Analyst in the UK to support pricing solutions, develop predictive models, and influence strategic pricing decisions across our insurance portfolio.

You will work with the Modelling & Optimisation Pricing Team to ensure pricing approaches meet business objectives, analyse data from diverse sources, and mentor junior colleagues in a flexible hybrid environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in general insurance preferred.
• Familiarity with retail pricing concepts.
• Experience in statistical and data science languages (PySpark, SQL, Python, R).
• Quantitative degree in Mathematics/Statistics/Engineering/Physics/CS/Actuarial Science.
• Radar software experience preferred but not essential.
• Good commercial acumen.
• Able to communicate results concisely, both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to analyse and interpret data from multiple sources.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of pricing solutions.
• Provide input into pricing processes and champion continuous improvement.
• Combine pricing expertise with commercial acumen to optimise P&L outcomes.
• Ensure activity complies with pricing governance and controls.
• Collaborate with Modelling & Optimisation Pricing Team to align models with objectives.
• Manage relationships with key stakeholders across the business.
• Mentor and coach junior team members.
