Job summary

Volkswagen Financial Services (UK) is seeking an undergraduate Pricing and Performance Analyst to join the Mobility team in Milton Keynes. You will analyse revenue, pricing and utilisation data, and produce reports for stakeholders as part of a fast-paced placement year.

You will develop skills in data analysis, reporting and business performance, with hybrid working and a focus on real-life projects including sustainability topics.

Salary: £23,915.49

Contract: 12-13months FTC Start dates are usually in June/July

Hybrid working:

We want you to get the best out of your placement, so we operate a hybrid policy where undergraduates work in the office 3 days per week. There may be times where you will need to be in more frequently depending on the needs of the business.

To apply for our undergraduate placement scheme, you must be studying for an undergraduate degree that requires a placement year. Master’s students are not eligible for this placement.

We’re looking for an undergraduate to join our Mobility team as a Pricing and Performance Analyst Undergraduate. You will have the chance to contribute to a fast-paced environment and develop invaluable skills in data analysis, reporting, stakeholder management and communication. What will you be doing?

• Analyse revenue, pricing and utilisation performance data across the Rent-a-Car business.
• Produce, distribute and interpret performance reports, scorecards and business summaries for stakeholders.
• Present data-driven insights, trends and recommendations to support decision making.
• Support training, customer experience analysis and continuous business improvement initiatives.

What are we looking for?

• Currently studying a degree in Business, Data Analytics, Economics, Mathematics or a related field
• Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills with an interest in reporting, analysis and AI tools.
• Strong analytical mindset and excellent problem-solving capabilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to manage relationships with multiple stakeholders.
• Self -motivated, with excellent organisational skills and ability to use own initiative
• A proactive and flexible approach with the ability to react appropriately and effectively to changing circumstances and demands
• Ability to work both independently and effectively within a team
• Confident presenting findings, interpreting data and identifying opportunities to improve business performance.

What our recruitment process looks like:

• You’ll be invited to complete a Situational Judgement Test. This is a short multiple-choice question set to help us understand how you may approach situations.
• If you pass this stage, you will be invited to complete an online video interview where you will have the opportunity to tell us more about yourself.
• If successful, your last step in the journey is to attend an in-person Assessment Centre at our Milton Keynes office. You’ll also meet some of our managers and our current undergraduates to find out more about a placement year with us.
