Job summary

Volkswagen Financial Services (UK) invites an undergraduate to join the Customer & Product Transformation team as a Commercial Insights Analyst Undergraduate in Milton Keynes. You will support commercial analysis, performance reporting and market research across multiple business channels.

This is a broad, high-impact placement designed to shape product and channel decisions with evidence-based insights. The role offers a 12-13 month FTC with hybrid working (office 3 days/week) and June/July

Qualifications

• Currently undertaking a degree with evidence of producing analysis and recommendations through university coursework.
• Analytical, logical and confident working with data.
• Strong critical thinking skills and ability to build an evidence-based argument.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, including confidence working with stakeholders.
• Driven, hard-working, inquisitive and proactive.
• Strong time management, prioritisation and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint; Tableau experience would be advantageous.
• Interest in automotive, consumer finance or consumer behaviour would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Produce Online Sales reporting and forecasting on a monthly and quarterly basis.
• Carry out market research to support product and commercial strategy.
• Support Commercial Development Managers with business cases, analysis and recommendations.
• Contribute to Product Review analysis and aftersales performance reporting.
• Maintain action logs and support governance through the Product & Commercial Forum.
• Work with large datasets and turn analysis into clear messages for different audiences.
• Support senior stakeholders by providing accurate reporting and evidence-based recommendations.

Location: Milton Keynes

Closing Date: 30th September 2026

Salary: £23,915.49

Contract: 12-13months FTC Start dates are usually in June/July

Hybrid working: We want you to get the best out of your placement, so we operate a hybrid policy where undergraduates work in the office 3 days per week. There may be times where you will need to be in more frequently depending on the needs of the business.
