My client is a prestigious dealership seeking a Vehicle Technician.

Salary: Basic of £35,000

Location: Near Salisbury

Would you be a good fit for this role?

Role and Responsibilities:
  • Undertake maintenance, service, and repair activities on motor vehicles of all types to the highest standards within scheduled times, meeting company and franchise standards.
  • Repair, test vehicles, and diagnose faults as required by the Service Manager and supervisory staff.
  • Replace components, parts, lubricants, and consumables, and record usage.
  • Keep work areas clean, tidy, organized, and safe from hazards.
  • Complete work effectively within manufacturers’ servicing and repair times.
  • Advise on vehicle faults and servicing requirements, including future servicing/repair needs.
The ideal applicant will:
  • Preferably have main dealer experience.
  • Ideally hold a valid MOT Card.
  • Take responsibility for the quality and quantity of their work.
  • Possess a full UK driving license.
  • Hold a Level 3 City and Guilds Qualification.
  • Have experience with diagnostics.
  • Preferably be a Senior Technician.
