A Catholic charity seeks a Press Officer to enhance its media presence and public recognition regarding Christian persecution. The role involves developing media strategies, sourcing stories, and acting as the main media contact. This position offers a hybrid work model and a competitive salary.
I am working with a Catholic charity to help find their new Press Officer, who will deliver the charity's strategic objective to raise its profile in the media by increasing coverage of Christian persecution-related issues across traditional and digital platforms. The successful candidate will be responsible for expanding the charity's media output, thereby increasing public recognition and establishing the charity as the go-to organization for media inquiries on this topic.
As Press Officer, you will:

Motivated by the cause supported by the charity, with sympathy for its mission and values, and possessing good knowledge and understanding of the Catholic Church, its teachings, and practices.
Location: South-west London/Surrey, hybrid work model (3 days in the office, 2 days from home)
Salary: GBP 33,000
Holiday allowance: Starts at 25 days (increasing to 30 days after 5 years), plus bank holidays, a 3-day Christmas shutdown, and your birthday off
Employment type: Full-time, permanent
