Job summary

Owen Daniels in Castle Donington is seeking a Press Brake Operator to join its manufacturing team. You will operate press brake machinery, read engineering drawings and job instructions to produce components to the required specifications, while maintaining quality and efficiency.

This hands-on role offers training and overtime opportunities, with a Monday to Thursday 7:00am–3:30pm shift and a Friday 7:00am–12:00pm finish, in a busy production environment focused on accuracy and 5S standards.

Qualifications

• Some experience setting press brake machinery would be beneficial.
• Ability to read and understand basic engineering drawings and work instructions.
• Good attention to detail and a focus on producing quality work.

Responsibilities

• Operate and sometimes set press brake machinery to produce components to the required specification
• Read and follow engineering drawings, work cards and job instructions
• Carry out basic quality checks throughout the production process
• Ensure tooling and machinery are used correctly and kept in good working condition
• Complete production and quality records accurately
• Report any machine faults, defects or quality issues to the relevant team members
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment in line with 5S standards
