Questech Recruitment Ltd is recruiting for a Press Brake Operator on behalf of a client, a well-established manufacturer. The role involves operating a press brake, following drawings, and ensuring dimensional conformance on several shift patterns.

Initially day hours with a transition to rotating early/late shifts. Salary includes a basic rate plus shift allowance and overtime. 25 days holiday plus bank holidays are offered.

Our client is a successful and well-established manufacturer. They are looking for a Press Brake Operator / Pressbrake Machine Operative to work in their busy factory.

This is an 18 month contract. Start date before the start of November (TBC).

PLEASE ONLY APPLY IF YOU MEET THE FOLLOWING ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

• At least 2 years experience as a Press Brake Operative, working with metal in a manufacturing / production / factory / engineering environment.
• Willing to work overtime when needed.

NOTE: The job will initially start on normal day hours, and then will move onto the below shift pattern at a later date. During this time you will be paid the basic rate of £14.78 - £15.59 per hour.

Shift pattern (Earlies & Lates, rotating weekly):

• 5.45am - 2.15pm Monday - Thursday, 5.45am - 1.15pm Friday
• 2.00pm - 10.30pm Monday - Thursday, 1.00pm - 8.30pm Friday

Salary (on shifts): £16.98 - £17.79 per hour depending on experience (£14.78 - £15.59 basic, plus a £2.20 shift allowance) + Overtime at x1.5 of the basic rate.

Benefit:

25 days holiday (plus bank holidays)

Duties and Responsibilities:

• To operate a press brake machine, to manufacture the company's metal products.
• To following engineering drawings.
• To follow quality specifications of build programme.
• To verify product and build dimensional conformance to engineering drawings.
• Any other duties as reasonable requested by management.
