Job summary

Time Recruitment Solutions Limited is seeking experienced Press Brake Operators to join our client’s Stretford site. The role covers programming, setting, and operating press brake machinery to produce precision components to spec, reading engineering drawings, and ensuring safety and quality standards.

The position is a day shift on a temp-to-perm basis, with competitive PAYE rates (£16.00–£18.00 per hour) and immediate interview slots available. Long-term career prospects offered.

Qualifications

• Proven experience programming, setting, and operating Press Brake machines.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Strong understanding of sheet metal fabrication processes.

Responsibilities

• Program, set up, and operate press brake machinery to produce components to specification.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Adjust machine settings to achieve accurate bends and maintain quality standards.
• Carry out first-off inspections and ongoing quality checks throughout production.
• Ensure all products meet required tolerances and customer specifications.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and housekeeping duties.
• Identify and report any machine faults or production issues.
• Work safely in accordance with company health and safety procedures.
• Collaborate with production teams to meet manufacturing targets and deadlines.

Location: Stretford, Manchester, M17 1JT
Pay Rate: £16.00 - £18.00 per hour PAYE (Depending on Experience)
Shift: Days - 07:30am to 4:00pm
Contract: Temp to Perm
Start Date: 26th October

We are currently recruiting for experienced Press Brake Operators to join a leading engineering and manufacturing business based in Stretford, Manchester. This is an excellent opportunity for skilled operators seeking long-term work with the potential to secure a permanent position following a successful temporary period.

We are looking for candidates who can confidently program, set, and operate press brake machinery and who have a strong background working within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday
• Day Shift: 07:30am - 4:00pm
