Job summary

Radstone Hotel, part of the RAD Hotel Group, is seeking a Prep Chef to join our kitchen team. You will prepare ingredients, support senior chefs, and help maintain an organised, efficient work area to ensure service runs smoothly.

Experience in a kitchen is desirable; full training can be provided. You’ll work varied shifts, enjoy weekly pay, and contribute to a busy wedding and events venue with a commitment to high standards.

Qualifications

• Previous kitchen or food prep experience is desirable.
• Experience at Sous level or above is essential.
• Willingness to learn and develop culinary skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients including vegetables, meats, fish, sauces and garnishes for service.
• Assist with food preparation across kitchen sections as directed by senior chefs.
• Ensure all food is prepared and stored in line with recipes and safety standards.
• Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations.
• Monitor stock levels, rotate stock and assist with deliveries.
• Maintain a clean, organised and well-stocked preparation area.
• Support the wider kitchen team to ensure smooth service.
