Job summary

Loungers plc in the United Kingdom is looking for a Prep Chef to join the kitchen team at Head Office. You will manage the store room, deliveries and prep tasks to ensure a smooth morning service.

We offer up to £12.71/hr + tips, paid breaks, staff meals on every shift, and 50% off food & drinks from day one. This role supports a busy, friendly kitchen environment with opportunities for development.

Qualifications

• Kitchen or catering experience required.
• Live locally to site for early start.
• Passion for real cooking and quality food.
• Team player with good communication.

Responsibilities

• Managing the receipt of morning deliveries including invoices.
• Storing, labelling and rotating goods correctly.
• Working alongside Head Chefs and Sous Chefs to update stock availability and ordering requirements.
• Ensuring the walk-in fridge, freezers and all dry store areas are sparkling clean and to all Food Safety standards.
• Supporting with breakfast and brunch service.
• Completing any deep cleaning jobs that need attention with attention to detail.
• Completing Back of House book for the morning including all temperature and probe checks.
