Job summary

Audley Travel is expanding into UK Retail stores. We are looking for an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in driving store performance within an Audley Travel concession in a retail store.

You will combine strong personal sales with day‑to‑day leadership, influencing conversion, service standards and operational consistency. This is a full-time role working 37 hours per week, across 5 days out of 7, with evenings and weekends on a rota.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales or service-led environments, preferably premium or travel-related.
• Ability to coach and develop others while balancing personal sales and team duties.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with a proactive mindset.
• Excellent organisation and prioritisation in a fast-paced retail setting.
• Passion for delivering exceptional, relationship-led client experiences.
• Proficient in Office 365 applications (Word, Excel, SharePoint, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of overall store performance, including sales, conversion and service standards.
• Act as deputy to the Store Manager and lead the store in their absence.
• Maintain ownership of your client base from first contact to post-trip engagement.
• Balance personal sales with team and operational responsibilities.
• Provide coaching and development to Personal Travel Experts.
• Deliver a premium client journey aligned to the Audley Way.
• Contribute to rota planning and daily operational effectiveness.
• Collaborate with Country Specialists to ensure a seamless client experience.
