Job summary

The White Company in the United Kingdom is seeking a Store Manager on a 12-month FTC (end date March 2027). You’ll be accountable for the overall store success, balancing commercial results with people-led leadership, and owning the customer experience and visual standards.

You’ll lead a premium team, drive peak trading performance, develop talent, manage KPIs and costs, and build strong local partnerships to grow footfall and brand presence.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading a premium or lifestyle retail store.
• Strong customer experience focus with premium brand standards.
• Commercial acumen with P&L awareness and KPI literacy.
• Excellent communicator and relationship builder.
• Calm, decisive, and solutions-focused under peak trading.
• Organised and able to manage multiple priorities.
• Genuine passion for The White Company brand and values.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary brand guardian delivering premium in-store customer experiences.
• Lead and develop a high-performing team with coaching and succession planning.
• Own store performance including sales, payroll, stock, and costs.
• Analyse KPIs and customer insights to drive improvement and actions.
• Plan peak trading periods with appropriate resourcing and training.
