Job summary

Le Creuset in Exeter is opening a new premium retail store and is seeking a Retail Store Manager to lead the team. You’ll be the friendly face helping shoppers discover their next kitchen favourite, sharing product tips, and ensuring the store looks fabulous.

The role requires strong leadership, hands-on coaching, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences while driving sales, delivering KPIs, and upholding brand standards across the store.

Qualifications

• Store Manager or equivalent leadership role in retail (premium retail preferred).
• Strong people management and coaching capability.
• Commercial and operational retail knowledge.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Confident using POS systems and retail software.

Responsibilities

• Store Leadership: take full ownership, lead by example, set performance standards.
• Team Management & Development: recruit, train, motivate, and coach the team.
• Exceptional Customer Experience: ensure warm, knowledgeable service and prompt issue resolution.
• Sales & Performance: drive sales, KPIs and profitability, monitor and act.
• Commercial Awareness: use data and feedback to optimise trading, promotions, and placement.
• Product Knowledge: stay up to date on range, launches, and promotions.
• Visual Merchandising & Housekeeping: keep store presented, clean, on brand.
• Stock & Inventory Management: manage stock, deliveries, replenishment, accuracy.
• Payroll & Administration: complete financial and admin processes accurately.
• Compliance & Safety: maintain safe, compliant environment.
• Store Operations: own opening and closing procedures and day-to-day operations.
