Job summary

Le Creuset Meadowhall is seeking a Retail Store Manager to own the performance, culture and day-to-day operations of the Sheffield store. You will lead from the front, drive high standards of service, stock presentation and safety, and ensure the store meets its sales and service goals.

You will develop your team, coach colleagues, manage rotas, and optimise promotions and product placement while upholding Le Creuset’s values of passion, integrity, excellence, innovation and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Store Manager or equivalent leadership role in premium/retail.
• Strong people management and coaching capability.
• Commercial and operational retail knowledge.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Confident using POS systems.
• Passion for cooking or cookware.
• Ability to lift 25–29 lbs regularly.

Responsibilities

• Taking full ownership of the store, leading by example and setting clear expectations for performance, behaviours, and standards.
• Recruiting, training, motivating, and coaching the team so everyone performs at their best and feels supported to grow.
• Ensuring every customer receives warm, knowledgeable, high-quality service and that issues are resolved professionally and promptly.
• Driving sales, KPIs, and profitability, monitoring performance closely and taking action to maximise results.
• Using data, insight, and customer feedback to optimise trading, promotions, and product placement.
• Staying fully up to date on the product range, new launches, and promotions to inspire the team and customers alike.
• Ensuring the store is always beautifully presented, clean, organised, and on brand.
• Overseeing stock levels, deliveries, replenishment, and stock accuracy to minimise loss and maximise availability.
• Ensuring all financial and administrative processes are completed accurately and on time.
• Maintaining a safe, secure, and fully compliant environment for colleagues and customers.
• Owning all opening and closing procedures and ensuring smooth day‑to‑day store operations.
• Managing rotas, absence, performance conversations, and succession planning.
• Delivering onboarding, ongoing training, and performance development plans.
• Acting confidently during incidents, alarms, or unforeseen situations.
• Preparing and reviewing sales, stock, and performance reports to inform decisions.
• Identifying opportunities to improve processes, standards, and customer experience.
• Taking on reasonable, ad‑hoc responsibilities to support the wider business.
