Job summary

Rhinefield House Hotel, part of Hand Picked Hotels, seeks a Restaurant and Bar Manager to lead our Bar, Lounge, Terrace, and Conservatory Restaurant. You will oversee a small room service operation, guide service quality, and drive guest satisfaction in a luxury country house setting.

You will manage a busy team, optimise labour and stock, and work closely with the Head Chef to enhance dining experiences while maintaining the brand’s commitment to excellence.

Qualifications

• Strong Premium bar experience, ideally in a busy country house or luxury hotel.
• Previous restaurant management experience is essential.
• Proven people management skills; able to lead from the floor during busy services.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Bar, Lounge, Terrace, conservatory restaurant and small room service operation, delivering exceptional service.
• Lead and develop the team, plan and organise work activities, and drive continuous improvement.
• Maintain a safe, healthy workplace and train staff on protocols and upsell initiatives.
• Build strong relationships to create a positive learning environment and align with guests’ expectations.
• Collaborate with the Conservatory Head Chef to elevate offerings and guest experience.
