Job summary

Virgin Active is seeking a Commercial Manager to join our Acquisition team. You will drive membership growth, revenue and profitability with a premium, customer-focused sales strategy, coaching a high-performing team and aligning onboarding with a data-driven approach.

You will lead CRM-driven insights, convert inquiries, and optimise the member journey from first contact to retention, ensuring GDPR compliance and accurate reporting.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading a high performing commercial or sales team.
• Strong commercial acumen with ability to interpret financial results and drive profitability.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Hold the club’s commercial results including membership revenue, net movement, POS value and sales mix.
• Drive corporate sales pipeline, partnerships, lead flow and conversion.
• Deliver weekly and monthly commercial planning and activity modelling.
