Job summary

Soho House & Co in the United Kingdom is seeking a Bartender to support the Bar Manager and ensure the bar runs smoothly. Your role includes preparing and serving classic and contemporary cocktails, wines, and spirits with precision while delivering a welcoming, sophisticated experience for members and guests.

You will maintain bar standards, assist with stock, collaborate with the team, and contribute to developing seasonal menus, while upholding licensing, health, and safety requirements

Qualifications

• 2–3 years experience in a similar role.
• Strong cocktail knowledge of classics, techniques and spirits.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a calm, confident manner.
• Ability to work efficiently while maintaining high standards.
• Experience with POS systems, stock control and basic reporting.
• Team player with flexible, professional attitude.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
• Personal license or willingness to obtain one (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a wide variety of drinks to a high standard.
• Engage with members and guests in a warm, professional manner.
• Maintain bar cleanliness, hygiene and organisation during service.
• Assist with stock rotation, inventory and replenishment.
• Ensure licensing, health and safety standards are followed.
• Contribute to new cocktail menus and seasonal offerings.
• Process orders using the POS system and handle billing.
• Collaborate with floor, kitchen and events teams for smooth service.
• Handle member queries and escalate as needed.
