Job summary

Soho House is seeking a Bartender to join our premium bar team in the United Kingdom. You will prepare and serve classic and contemporary cocktails, wines, and spirits with precision while creating a welcoming and sophisticated environment for our members and guests.

You will support the Bar Manager and Assistant Bar Manager, ensure the bar operates smoothly, maintain high standards, and contribute to new menu development and seasonal offerings.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in a similar capacity.
• Strong cocktail knowledge across classics, techniques and spirits.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a confident, calm presence during busy services.
• Ability to maintain high standards and attention to detail.
• Experience with POS systems, stock control and basic reporting.
• Team player with a flexible, professional and positive attitude.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Personal License or willingness to obtain one (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a wide variety of drinks to a consistently high standard, including cocktails, spirits, wines, beers, and non-alcoholic beverages.
• Engage with members and guests in a warm, professional manner, remembering preferences and delivering a personalised experience.
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and organisation of the bar before, during, and after service.
• Assist with stock rotation, inventory, and replenishment of supplies throughout the shift.
• Ensure compliance with licensing, health & safety, and hygiene standards always.
• Contribute to the development of new cocktail menus and seasonal drink offerings in collaboration with the bar team.
• Process orders accurately using the POS system and ensure all billing is completed to club standards.
• Collaborate effectively with the floor team, kitchen, and events department to ensure smooth and seamless service.
• Handle member queries and feedback confidently, escalating any concerns to management as appropriate.
