Job summary

Soho House is seeking a Bartender to support the Bar Manager and keep the bar fully operational with high standards for our members and guests. You will craft classic and contemporary cocktails while delivering a welcoming, sophisticated environment.

You’ll engage with members professionally, maintain bar hygiene, assist with stock and contribute to new menu ideas. Fluent English and previous POS experience are essential for this role in London.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years’ experience in a similar capacity.
• Strong cocktail knowledge, including classics, techniques and spirits.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and a confident, calm presence during busy services.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a wide variety of drinks to a consistently high standard, including cocktails, wines, beers and non-alcoholic beverages.
• Engage with members and guests in a warm, professional manner, remembering preferences and delivering a personalised experience.
• Maintain bar cleanliness, hygiene and organisation before, during and after service.
• Assist with stock rotation, inventory and replenishment of supplies during shifts.
• Ensure compliance with licensing, health & safety and hygiene standards at all times.
• Contribute to development of new cocktail menus with the bar team.
• Process orders accurately using the POS system and ensure all billing meets club standards.
• Collaborate with floor, kitchen, and events teams for seamless service.
• Handle member queries and feedback, escalating to management as needed.
