Job summary

The Angmering School in West Sussex requires a part-time Premises Officer on a fixed-term contract until July 2027. The role is 20 hours per week, 4 hours daily (Mon-Fri, 12:30pm-4:30pm), with one weekend in eight and on-call duties for the alarm monitoring system.

You will help keep the school premises and grounds safe, secure and well maintained, supporting teaching and the wider school community. GCSEs in Maths and English are expected; experience in a school setting is preferred but not

Qualifications

• Experience in a school or similar environment preferred.
• Good DIY skills are essential.
• Strong communication skills are required.
• Basic computer skills including email usage.
• Knowledge of Health & Safety regulations relevant to education.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safe, secure, clean and well-maintained premises.
• Ensure the site remains suitable for teaching and the wider community.
