Job summary

The Angmering School is seeking a Premises Officer on a fixed term contract. The role is 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday (4 hours per day, 12:30pm-4:30pm). The salary is Grade 4, £26,427 per annum, with an additional weekend supplement (£1,838) and a baseline actual salary of £14,284 in the week days.

There is a duty weekend (1 in 8) and on-call responsibilities for alarm monitoring. Applicants should be educated to GCSE level in Maths and English and be ready to start ASAP for a contract

Qualifications

• Self-motivated and enthusiastic team player with maintenance abilities.
• Good communication skills and basic computer literacy including email.
• Willingness to work flexibly to meet school needs.
• Knowledge of Health & Safety legislation including relevant acts.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the school premises, buildings and grounds are safe, secure, clean and well maintained.
• Maintain the school site to support teaching, learning and the wider community.
• Responsible for the security of the school site.
