Job summary

Equans is recruiting a Premises Assistant to join the team at Marriott & Lonsdale School, SG2 8BL, Stevenage. This permanent, full-time role offers a 37.5-hour week with shift patterns including weekends and weekday evenings as described.

You will assist in maintaining safety, security and day-to-day school operations, carry out routine inspections, safety checks, minor repairs, and support contractors on site while keeping accurate records and complying with health and safety requirements.

Qualifications

  • Experience in a customer-facing role is desirable.
  • Good reading and writing skills.
  • Knowledge of health and safety practices is advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain safety, security and day-to-day school operations; perform routine inspections and safety checks.
  • Support contractors on site and complete minor repairs; keep records and report defects or damage in line with procedures.

On offer is a salary of £26,734.50 per annum and benefits packageShift Times :Sat-Sun - 08.00-18.00Mon - 14.00-22.00Tues-Wed - 16.00-22.00Thurs-Fri - Rest DaysWhat will you deliver?The Premises Assistant will help maintain the safety, security and day-to-day operation of Marriott & Lonsdale School by carrying out routine inspections, fire safety checks, meter and plant checks, minor repairs and general maintenance.
