Job summary

Civil Works Alliance (CWA) is seeking a Preconstruction Manager for the Sizewell C project to lead enabling and earthworks readiness. The role focuses on planning, coordination and assuring all prerequisites are in place before mobilisation, interfacing with programme, engineering and procurement teams.

The successful candidate will manage the preconstruction team, drive readiness plans, and monitor risks within a highly regulated nuclear-related environment in Sizewell, Suffolk.

Qualifications

• The candidate holds a degree in civil engineering or related discipline.
• Membership in ICE, APM, CIOB or equivalent desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, coordination and readiness activities for enabling and earthworks.
• Interface across programme, engineering, construction, commercial, procurement, permitting, environmental, stakeholder and supply chain teams to identify prerequisites.
• Develop and drive readiness plans and monitor risks to ensure packages are prepared before mobilisation.
• Manage the preconstruction team and cross-functional interfaces.
