Job summary

Sizewell C is hiring a Project Manager for enabling and earthworks, delivering major civils work packages within a leading UK low-carbon project. You will report to a Senior Project Manager and oversee end-to-end lifecycle delivery across engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning.

You will work within the Civil Works Alliance to ensure safety, timeliness and budget adherence, coordinating across interfaces and driving best practice in line with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Valid CSCS card.
• Proven experience delivering major civil engineering projects in complex, safety-critical environments.
• Chartered Engineer or Chartered Project Manager.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate and coordinate civils works packages valued between £50m - £200m within Enabling and Earthworks.
• Support enabling works delivery team for earthworks, sea defences, diaphragm walling, dewatering, HDD, jetty construction and excavation.
• Lead and deliver major milestones including Dewatering, Bridge Construction, Big Dig and Beach Landing Facility construction.
• Lead engagement with internal and external stakeholders (e.g., Sizewell B, Environment Agency).
• Manage interfaces across design, engineering, construction, consenting, quality and programme teams.
• Lead safety culture, incident investigations, risk reviews and permits compliance.
