Job summary

You will oversee dispensing operations, mentor the dispensing team, and contribute to patient care through advice on medicines, histories, and treatment options while embracing digital tools and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Registered Pharmacy Technician with the GPhC.
• Passion for patient and customer care.
• Ability to deliver high standards efficiently.
• Comfortable overseeing the dispensing team and wider healthcare colleagues.
• Embrace continuous learning and digital competency.

Responsibilities

• Ordering medicines, checking, dispensing, and endorsing prescriptions.
• Final accuracy check of dispensed items before supply to patients.
• Overseeing dispensing team when requested by Responsible Pharmacist.
• Involved in preparation, supply and checking of prescriptions; provide advice and support.
• Take medicine histories and advise on treatment options.
• Advise patients and coach others on medicines and referrals to Pharmacist.
