Job summary

Bennett and Game Recruitment LTD is seeking a Mechanical Inspector for an on-site role in Esher, London. You will carry out dimensional and visual inspections of precision components and verify against engineering drawings, tolerances and specifications.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a precision manufacturing environment, preferably aerospace, with strong metrology skills and knowledge of inspection equipment. This permanent position offers long-term development and stability.

Qualifications

• Experience as Mechanical Inspector in manufacturing environments.
• Aerospace experience is desirable but not essential.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and tolerances.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Stable employment history and commitment to long-term role.

Responsibilities

• Carry out dimensional and visual inspections of precision components.
• Inspect components against drawings, specifications, tolerances and standards.
• Use verniers, calipers, micrometers and height gauges.
• Utilise CMM equipment where applicable.
• Identify and report non-conformances and maintain records.
• Collaborate with production to resolve quality issues and ensure ISO/aerospace standards.
