Job summary

Actio Recruitment is seeking a Mechanical Inspector for a permanent role in Surrey. You will inspect precision components against drawings and specifications, using verniers, micrometers, height gauges, and other inspection equipment.

You will compile inspection reports and ensure all products meet customer and quality standards. The ideal candidate has aerospace or precision engineering experience, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work with production and quality teams.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Mechanical Inspector.
• Experience reading engineering drawings.
• Strong understanding of dimensional inspection and quality reporting.

Responsibilities

• Inspect precision components to drawings and specs.
• Carry out dimensional inspection using verniers, micrometers, height gauges and other equipment.
• Complete inspection reports and quality documentation.
• Identify and report non-conforming components.
• Work closely with production and quality teams.
• Ensure products meet customer and quality standards.
