Job summary

HUBER+SUHNER Polatis is looking for a hands-on Production Operator to join the Operations Team. You will assemble, inspect, and test micro-components in a clean room, analyze data for prototypes, and develop manufacturing standards and documentation.

You will work on Lean manufacturing projects, troubleshoot equipment, manage waste, and support cross-functional teams with prototypes and new products to ensure quality production.

Qualifications

• Evidence of strong practical skills essential to manufacturing roles.
• Ability to interpret and follow engineering proposals and liaise with other disciplines.
• Ability to implement processes and create relevant work instructions when required.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, inspect and test micro-components in a clean room environment.
• Analyze data to determine pass/fail or rework approaches for prototypes.
• Develop and document manufacturing standards and associated records.
• Support Lean Manufacturing initiatives and drive quality and productivity improvements.
• Troubleshoot equipment and validate product functionality.
• Manage waste and maintain safety and environmental compliance.
• Prepare materials and set up production equipment according to standard work.
• Collaborate with Engineers and cross-functional teams on prototypes and new products.
