Job summary

Redline Group Ltd in Southampton, Hampshire, is seeking a Production Technician to contribute to the manufacture of high-quality PPLN devices for R&D and OEM customers. The role spans production and cleanroom environments, handling wafer- and chip-level processes with precision.

You will execute photolithography, sputtering, furnace processing, dicing and polishing, using microscopes for delicate components, while following schedules and maintaining strict quality standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in wafer-scale optical or semiconductor processing in a cleanroom.
• Degree or equivalent industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Carry out production processes including photolithography, sputtering, furnace processing, dicing and polishing.
• Work with small and delicate components using microscopes and precision equipment.
• Follow production schedules, procedures and quality requirements.
• Complete process logs, quality reports and other production documentation.
• Identify and report process or quality issues to the Team Leader.
• Maintain high standards of cleanroom practice and Health & Safety.
• Work collaboratively with the production team to meet deadlines and improve processes.
