Job summary

Azenta US, Inc. in Wotton, Surrey is seeking a Tool Technician to service and clean injection mould tools in the tool room and factory." Own transport is required due to rural location.

You will work Monday to Friday, 8am to 4:30pm, supporting production with meticulous assembly, repair and documentation of tool servicing. The role requires qualification in mechanical engineering (C&G/NVQ or apprenticeship) and hands-on experience with surface grinding, CNC/VM C machines, and drawing

Qualifications

• Formal mechanical engineering qualification (C&G/NVQ or apprenticeship).
• Experience with injection moulding tools is advantageous but not essential.
• Ability to read 2D component drawings; wiring drawings advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Daily servicing and cleaning of injection mould tools in the tool room or factory.
• Carry out repairs, modifications and servicing of injection moulding tools and related tooling.
• Document service and repair work with electronic records and photos of issues.
• Support production by cleaning or repairing in the clean room when required.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
