Job summary

Azenta UK, Ltd. is seeking a Tool Technician based in Wotton, Surrey. The role involves servicing and cleaning injection mould tools, disassembly and reassembly, and reporting issues to production.

You will repair and calibrate tooling and assist in related equipment maintenance, documenting work with photos and records. Applicants should have C&G's/NVQ or an apprenticeship and hands-on experience with manual and CNC tooling, including surface grinders, milling and lathes.

Qualifications

• Solid experience in mechanical assembly & disassembly.
• Experience with manual and CNC tools (Surface Grinder, CNC, VMC, Milling, Centre Lathe).
• High precision tooling, polishing and finishing is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Service and clean injection mould tools, strip, inspect, reassemble and return to production.
• Carry out repairs, modifications and servicing of tooling and related equipment.
• Daily servicing and cleaning of mould tools in tool room or factory.
• Document service work with electronic records and photos.
• Support production in clean room and other toolroom tasks as needed.
