Job summary

Masstemps is recruiting an experienced CNC Press Brake Operative to join a busy engineering team in Kidderminster. You will produce high-quality metal components with a strong focus on accuracy, quality and safety.

Key duties include setting up, programming, and operating CNC press brake machines, interpreting drawings, and inspecting parts using precise measuring tools. Experience with Amada/Trumpf/Ermak is advantageous. Monday to Friday, 7:30–16:30.

Qualifications

• Experience operating CNC press brake machines.
• Reading engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Reading measurement tools and ensuring tolerances.

Responsibilities

• Set up, program, and operate CNC press brake to manufacture metal components.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Inspect finished components using calipers, gauges, and protractors to verify tolerances.
• Select tooling based on material, thickness, and bend requirements.
• Keep machines clean and maintained; follow safety procedures.
• Work to production targets while upholding quality standards.
