Job summary

Proactive Global in Normanton, Wakefield is seeking an experienced CNC Press Brake Operator for a temp-to-perm role. You will set up and operate Amada CNC Press Brakes, producing components from drawings and specifications while adjusting tooling and ensuring quality.

The position requires reading engineering drawings and working with sheet metal materials, on a rotating shift pattern. The ideal candidate will have prior CNC press brake experience (Amada preferred), strong measuring and

Qualifications

• Experience operating CNC press brakes, Amada experience preferred.
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings accurately.
• Experience in sheet metal fabrication environment.
• Familiar with measuring equipment and quality inspection.
• Strong attention to detail and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate Amada CNC Press Brakes.
• Manufacture components from drawings and specifications.
• Adjust tooling and perform machine changes.
• Inspect parts to ensure quality standards.
• Handle various sheet metal materials and thicknesses.
• Use measuring tools to verify accuracy.
• Keep the work area clean, safe, and organized.
• Meet production schedules while maintaining quality.
