Job summary

A1 Personnel Employment Agency Ltd is seeking an experienced CNC Miller to join a manufacturing team in the UK. This hands-on role requires a time-served setter/operator with strong Mazak milling experience to produce precision components from engineering drawings and maintain high quality and efficiency.

You will handle 3-, 4-, and 5-axis milling, interpret drawings, and perform self-inspection to ensure parts meet tight tolerances.

Qualifications

• Time-served CNC Miller Machinist with proven track record.
• Experience on Mazak milling machines and multi-axis tooling.
• Able to interpret engineering drawings and tight tolerances.
• Experience in aerospace or high-precision environments.
• Proficient with precision measuring equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and quality control.
• Able to work shifts including night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate Mazak CNC milling machines.
• Produce high-quality precision components from engineering drawings.
• Work 3-, 4-, and 5-axis milling operations to spec.
• Inspect own work to ensure adherence to tolerances.
• Carry out quality checks on finished parts.
• Maintain machine tool and workspace cleanliness and safety.
