The One Group is seeking a CNC Miller / CNC Machinist in the United Kingdom to set and operate up to 5-axis CNC milling machines, read drawings, and perform in-process inspections to ensure high-quality precision components.

Join a growing SME supplying precision parts to Aerospace, Defence and Motorsport sectors. The role requires a time-served CNC apprenticeship or 3+ years of experience, and proficiency with Fanuc/HAAS controls and precision measuring equipment.

Qualifications

• Time-served CNC apprenticeship or equivalent experience (3+ years preferred).
• Experience setting and operating CNC milling machines with Fanuc/HAAS controls.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and use precision measuring equipment.

Responsibilities

• Set and operate up to 5-axis CNC milling machines, manage Fanuc/HAAS controls and modify programmes as needed.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications to produce accurate components.
• Carry out in-process inspections and complete production documentation.
• Support workshop operations with basic maintenance, deburring, and continuous improvement activities.
