Job summary

The One Group is seeking a skilled CNC Miller / CNC Machinist in the UK to join a growing SME. You will set and operate CNC milling machines, including up to 5-axis capability, to produce precision components for Aerospace, Defence, and Motorsport industries.

You will read drawings, prepare materials and tooling, and perform in-process inspections to ensure parts meet customer specifications. A time-served CNC apprenticeship or equivalent with 3+ years of experience is required.

Qualifications

• Time-served CNC apprenticeship or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years' experience in a similar precision manufacturing environment.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and manufacture to tight tolerances.
• Strong attention to detail, reliability in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Set and operate up to 5-axis CNC milling machines with Fanuc/HAAS controls.
• Read and interpret drawings and specifications to produce accurate components.
• Perform in-process inspections and document production data.
• Support maintenance and continuous improvement in a quality-focused workshop.
