Randstad Construction and Property is seeking a Pre-Boarder on site in Northumberland to prepare frames, apply sealant and insulation, and ensure surfaces are ready for dryliners.

You will check alignments, support the trade team with site prep, and maintain a safe, clean workspace. A valid CSCS card and reliable, detail-oriented work style are essential.

Formación

• Valid CSCS Card.
• Previous experience in pre-boarding, insulation installation, or general drylining prep work.
• Full PPE (steel toe boots, hi-vis, hard hat, safety glasses, gloves).
• Own standard hand tools for preparation and sealing work.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and good attention to detail.

Responsabilidades

• Preparing internal timber or steel stud frames for drywall installation.
• Applying sealant/silicone and installing thermal/acoustic insulation into wall cavities prior to boarding.
• Checking frame alignments, cut-outs, and tape work to ensure surfaces are prepped for dryliners.
• Assisting the wider trade team with general site prep and material handling.
• Maintaining a safe, clean, and organised working area in accordance with site safety standards.

Job Title: Pre-Boarder

Location: Northumberland

Pay Rate: £19 per hour
