Job summary

Daikin UK Ltd seeks a Pre-Sales Technical Team Lead to drive heat pump solutions for residential new builds in the UK. You will guide a small team, partner with housebuilders, and lead technical discussions with developers and sales teams to ensure compliant, high-performance designs.

You will review designs, collaborate with internal partners, and support installations while managing multiple projects and pursuing upsell opportunities.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of heat pump systems, HVAC design, and AC selections for residential/light commercial builds.
• Ability to build relationships and communicate technical concepts clearly.
• Experience leading teams and developing roadmaps.
• Organised, detail-oriented, and experienced in managing multiple projects.
• Analytical thinker who can develop tailored solutions.
• Understand how technical decisions align with business goals.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small team of Pre Sales Technical Engineers and drive their training and development.
• Partner with housebuilders to design and apply heat pump solutions for new builds.
• Lead technical discussions with developers and sales teams and provide expert advice on Daikin products and services.
• Review and validate designs for accuracy, compliance, and performance.
• Collaborate with design partners and internal teams to deliver bespoke solutions.
• Support first-fix installations with guidance on sensors, wiring, and plumbing.
• Manage projects and track progress using CRM and SharePoint.
• Drive innovation by integrating Duco ventilation solutions and exploring upsell opportunities.
