Job summary

Becrypt is seeking a Solutions Engineer to bridge technical delivery and customer satisfaction. You will be the primary technical contact for customers, design and optimise solutions, and provide training and consultancy throughout engagements.

You will lead evaluations, pilots and POC work, collaborate with engineering on product details, and deliver tailored demonstrations to drive sales and customer success. Travel flexibility is essential.

• Essential: strong verbal and written presentation skills.

• Essential: troubleshooting and problem-solving ability.
• Essential: deep technical understanding of Microsoft technologies.
• Essential: security, risk analysis and threat modeling knowledge.
• Essential: experience with security product installation/configuration.
• Essential: experience with VMWare/Omnisa and Citrix.
• Essential: Linux (Unix) networking, firewalls and VPNs.
• Essential: cloud platform experience.
• Essential: Docker and microservices orchestration.
• Desirable: security-conscious org experience; AGILE; cross-domain security knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for customers during engagements, managing expectations and communications.
• Provide pre-sales technical support during the sales cycle, including architecture design and demos.
• Lead technical evaluations, pilots and proofs-of-concept initiatives.
• Collaborate with software engineering to understand products in detail and identify opportunities.
• Deliver customised demonstrations at meetings and events to support sales.
• Advise product management on client needs and future directions.
• Escalate and manage technical issues to support deal closure and customer success.
• Engage, train and support Becrypt partners and customers; travel as required.
