Job summary

Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking a pre-registration trainee Pharmacy Technician on the non-apprenticeship route. The role involves dispensing prescriptions, stock control, and ward-based pharmacy services across LTHT sites.

You will gain experience in medication histories, patient advice, and rotate through MMPS departments with evening/weekend rotations. Successful completion leads to GPhC registration.

Responsibilities

• Dispensing prescriptions in inpatient and outpatient pharmacies.

• Educating patients on medicines.
• Rotating across LTHT sites to meet training requirements.
• Completing placements in MMPS departments and external organisations.
• Working evenings, weekends and bank holidays on rotation.
• Registering with the General Pharmaceutical Council on completion of the programme.
