Royal Cornwall Hospitals NHS Trust is actively recruiting for a Pre-Registration Trainee Pharmacy Technician. The role may be hospital‑based or linked with GP surgery or community pharmacy across East, West and Mid Cornwall.

You will train over 24 months via virtual classroom sessions and on‑the‑job experience, rotating through GP practices, community pharmacy and secondary care to build a portfolio toward qualifying as a Pharmacy Technician.

Competenze

• Five GCSEs at grade 4 or above including Maths, English and Science (Chemistry or Biology).
• Desirable: BTEC Level 2 in Pharmaceutical Science and Level 2 Certificate in Pharmacy Service Skills.

Mansioni

• Training over 24 months via a mix of virtual classroom sessions and on‑the‑job experience across GP Practice, Community Pharmacy and other secondary care sites.
• Rotational timetable to build a portfolio towards becoming a registered Pharmacy Technician.
• Upon successful completion you will be eligible to register as a Pharmacy Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
• Supervised and assessed throughout training; commitment to completing assignments and underpinning knowledge.
• This is a full-time post (37.5 hours/week); part-time hours may be considered.
