Job summary

Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking a Pre-Registration Trainee Pharmacy Technician (non-apprentice) to rotate across LTHT sites, gaining experience in inpatient and outpatient pharmacy, dispensing, stock control and ward-based services.

You will work with multi-disciplinary teams, progress toward General Pharmaceutical Council registration, and undertake a two-stage recruitment process including interview and practical assessments.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pharmacy services across inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Dispense prescriptions and issue prescribed items.
• Contribute to pharmaceutical stock control and ward-based services.
• Take patient medication histories and educate patients on medicines.
• Include placements within MMPS departments and potential visits to other organisations.
