Job summary

Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join the Pharmacy team and complete the Pharmacy Technician Training Programme (non-apprenticeship route). Your duties will span LTHT sites, including inpatient and outpatient pharmacies, with responsibilities in dispensing, stock control and patient education.

On completion you must register with the General Pharmaceutical Council. This vacancy is for applicants who do not meet apprenticeship levy funding eligibility.

Qualifications

• Previous pharmacy experience is required.
• Willingness to complete the Pharmacy Technician Training Programme (non-apprenticeship).
• Ability to work across LTHT sites and with multi-disciplinary teams.
• On completion, registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council is expected.

Responsibilities

• Work in hospital inpatient and outpatient pharmacies, dispensing prescriptions and issuing items.
• Contribute to all aspects of pharmaceutical stock control.
• Deliver ward-based pharmacy services and patient education where applicable.
