Job summary

Wernick Buildings, a division of The Wernick Group, is seeking a Pre-Construction Project Manager to lead multiple projects from bid stage to construction, coordinating with design, commercial and delivery teams to deliver on time and within budget.

You will manage client relations, BIM involvement, and supply chain stakeholders, while ensuring compliance with design and specification requirements and maintaining high quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Construction related degree at degree level.
• Excellent leadership skills for multi-disciplinary teams.
• Excellent negotiation and communication abilities.
• Experience in writing construction programmes.
• Proficient in MS Office software.

Responsibilities

• Manage design, commercial and delivery teams from bid to construction.
• Set out individual project deliverables and timelines.
• Ensure deliverables meet high-quality standards within timelines.
• Oversee technical specification requirements for projects.
• Be the main contact for clients and design teams.
• Coordinate with supply chain stakeholders to meet design/spec needs.
• Direct external consultants to align with design and schedule.
• Hold handover meetings to ensure information is complete for delivery.
• Participate in BIM-enabled projects to improve efficiency and reduce errors.
• Carry out other project management duties as required.
