Wernick Buildings, part of The Wernick Group, is seeking a Pre-Construction Project Manager in Wales to own multiple projects from bid to construction, coordinating design, commercial and delivery teams.

You will manage project timelines, risks and profitability, with BIM involvement and close collaboration with stakeholders across disciplines. A construction-related degree and strong leadership are essential; opportunities for progression and a comprehensive benefits package are offered.

Qualifications

• Construction degree required.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Experience writing construction programmes.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Professionally qualified preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, commercial and delivery teams from bid stage to construction phase.
• Assist with setting out project deliverables and timelines.
• Ensure deliverables meet high standards and align with design specs.
• Manage technical specification requirements for each project.
• Be main contact for clients and design teams; coordinate with supply chain.
• Oversee external consultants to align outputs with time and design.
• Hold handover meetings to ensure information is complete for delivery.
• Participate in BIM activities to improve efficiency and reduce errors.
• Carry out other project management duties as required.
