Job summary

UI Social Infrastructure Limited is seeking an experienced Pre-Construction Manager to lead social housing projects from enquiry to contract award. You will ensure robust planning, pricing, risk management and stakeholder engagement while coordinating estimating, commercial, operational and SHEQ functions.

This role requires strong bid management, the ability to handle multiple projects, and a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a Pre-Construction, Bid Management or Project Management role within social housing, construction or planned maintenance.
• Strong understanding of refurbishment, retrofit, decarbonisation and housing maintenance projects.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Commercially aware with experience of tendering and bid processes.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
• Full UK driving licence.

• Drive continuous improvement across pre-construction activities.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Pre-Construction Manager to join our growing Social Housing team. This is a key role responsible for leading projects from initial enquiry through to contract award, ensuring robust planning, pricing, risk management, and stakeholder engagement. Working closely with operational, commercial, and bid teams, you will play a crucial role in securing and mobilising planned maintenance, decarbonisation, retrofit, refurbishment, and housing improvement contracts.
