Job summary

Fortiva in Bolton is seeking a Head of Pre-Construction to drive business development and lead pre-construction activities across social housing projects. The role focuses on shaping strategy, coordinating bid responses, and ensuring the highest quality bid solutions.

You will manage a regional bid team, mentor staff, collaborate with operations and commercial teams, and stay ahead of industry changes to deliver sustainable, energy-efficient homes.

Qualifications

• Strong people management and mentorship abilities.
• Proven bid/tender delivery in planned maintenance/asset management for social housing.
• Undergraduate degree (BSc) or equivalent.
• MCIOB or RICS qualification or equivalent.
• Valid driving licence.
• Knowledge of sustainability and decarbonisation.
• Leadership qualification or progress towards (desirable).

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensure effective collaboration with operations and commercial teams.

Skills and Experience:

• Successful track record in bid/tender delivery within planned maintenance/asset management across social housing projects - Minimum relevant Undergraduate Degree (e.g., BSc) or equivalent
• MCIOB or RICS qualification or equivalent
• Clean driving licence.
• Knowledge of sustainability and decarbonisation.
• Relevant leadership qualification or working towards (desirable).
