Job summary

United Infrastructure is seeking an experienced Senior Contracts Manager to lead large-scale refurbishment projects across multiple sites. You will manage contracts, coordinate sites and teams, and ensure safety and compliance while delivering on time and within budget.

The role requires a strong commercial mindset, excellent stakeholder management, and the ability to analyse performance data to guide decisions. A UK driving licence and willingness to travel between sites are essential.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience working for a refurbishment main contractor.
  • Significant experience managing multiple contracts, sites, and operational teams.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, develop, and drive high-performing teams.
  • Excellent commercial awareness, including procurement, subcontractor management, and supply chain engagement.
  • Strong analytical and data interrogation skills, with the ability to use performance data to inform decision-making.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Microsoft Excel, and project tracking/reporting systems.
  • Outstanding client relationship and stakeholder management skills.
  • A thorough understanding of Health & Safety legislation and best practices, with a commitment to maintaining safe working environments.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence, collaborate, and deliver results through others.
  • A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel between sites as required.
  • Desirable: Previous experience within social housing, planned maintenance, or property services.
  • Experience delivering refurbishment programmes on behalf of local authorities or housing associations.
  • Relevant construction qualifications and/or professional memberships.

About You
