Job summary

MK Consult is seeking a commercially minded Pre-Construction Manager to lead the bid and pre-construction process for social housing projects in Bolton and across the UK. This pivotal leadership role requires a proven track record in social housing, strong commercial acumen, and the ability to unite multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.

You will coordinate with operations, commercial and bid teams, manage client relationships, and ensure costed, viable solutions

My client is seeking a commercially astute Head of Pre-Construction to join its growing Housing Partnerships team.

This is a pivotal leadership role, managing the pre-construction process across planned maintenance, retrofit and decarbonisation projects within the social housing sector. Acting as the link between clients, operations, commercial and bid teams, you will play a key role in securing, shaping and mobilising projects for successful delivery.

We're open to candidates from a variety of backgrounds, including Managing Quantity Surveyors, Commercial Managers, Operations Managers, Bid Managers and Pre-Construction professionals who possess strong social housing experience and a commercial mindset.

Key Responsibilities
