Job summary

Bimplus, a leading specialist contractor in stone, tiling and interiors, is seeking an experienced Pre-Construction Manager to join on a permanent basis. You will drive tenders from enquiry to handover, coordinate with clients and design teams, and ensure packages are commercially and technically deliverable.

This role requires proven experience in pre-construction, estimating, QS or commercial management, with strong knowledge of stone, tiling or specialist finishes, and the ability to

Qualifications

Experience in pre-construction, estimating, quantity surveying or commercial management.
Strong knowledge of stone, tiling or specialist finishes.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

Manage projects through pre-construction and tender stages.
Review drawings, specifications and scope of works.
Prepare and coordinate tenders for stone and tiling packages.
Work with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain quotations.
Carry out take-offs, review quantities and assess labour/material needs.
Identify risks at tender stage and liaise with clients and design teams.
Support value engineering and alternative material proposals as appropriate.
Ensure viable development before moving into delivery and handover to delivery teams.
